We also offer free Balance Testing, and Fall Risk Assessment using Biodex Balance System ™.
Services include, but need not be limited to, the following:
- Determination and development of treatment goals and plans in accordance with a treatment program established to aim at preventing or reducing disability or pain, and restoring lost function;
- Therapeutic interventions that focus on posture, locomotion, strength, endurance, cardiopulmonary functions, balance, coordination, joint mobility, flexibility, pain, functional activities, and daily living skills;
- The application of modalities that include heat, cold, light, air, water, sound, electricity, mobilization, therapeutic exercises and activities with or without assistive devices;
- Assessment and training in ambulation, including the appropriate use of orthotic, prosthetic, or assistive devices;
- Patient and family education, as appropriate;
- Physical Therapy staff monitors the extent to which services have met the therapeutic goals relative to initial and all subsequent examination, as well as the degree to which improvement occurs relative to identified physical dysfunction or the degree to which pain associated with movement is reduced.
